Through research, education, and community engagement, we inspire and equip individuals and organizations to become agents of inclusive innovation, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate in and benefit from the transformative power of innovation.

CAIDI envisions a world where everyone has the opportunity to participate in and benefit from technology and art, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or socioeconomic status.

World Economic Inclusion Forum

We, the founding members of the World Economic Inclusion Forum (WEIF), are committed to creating a more inclusive and equitable global economy. We believe that everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, should have the opportunity to participate in the economic life of their community and reach their full potential.

The CAIDI Diversity Ideas Festival

The Diversity Ideas Festival (DIF) is a 4-day event that brings together thought leaders, innovators, and change-makers from around the world to explore the intersection of diversity, inclusion, and innovation.

 

The festival will feature a dynamic lineup of speakers, panels, workshops, and networking opportunities, all designed to spark new ideas, challenge assumptions, and foster collaboration.

Applied Innovation

Applied Innovation is the process of taking innovative ideas and solutions and putting them into practice to solve real-world problems. It involves the identification of a problem, the development of a solution, and the implementation of that solution. Applied Innovation is essential for driving positive change and improving the lives of people around the world.


The key elements of Applied Innovation are:

Kizzmekia Corbett helped lead a team of scientists contributing to one of the most stunning achievements in the history of immunizations: a highly effective, easily manufactured vaccine against Covid-19 which played an important role in turning the tide of the crippling, historic global pandemic. .As a student, she was selected to participate in Project SEED, a program for gifted minority students that allowed her to study chemistry in labs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
